Mas des Bécasses is a 160-hectare estate located in Provence along the Rhône, where the Camargue region begins.
At its heart, this estate hides, like an oasis, a 16th-century farmhouse comprising several thousand square metres of buildings, almost a kilometre from the nearest neighbour, guaranteeing a property of total peace and quiet.
Once a vineyard, the Mas was once owned by the Camargue's most famous horsewoman, Marie Sara, who left a deep imprint on the estate by turning it into a breeding ground for bulls and, above all, a training ground for horses. The property has an undeniable charm, with its splendid stables, covered riding arena and immense patio.
Now owned by one of the great names in haute couture olive oil, this estate is now devoted to growing olives. Selected for the finesse of its soils, Mas des Bécasses is probably the largest olive grove in France, with over 100,000 trees in a single block.
Today, this estate truly bears the marks of its dual culture. Combining the iconic tree of Provence and the Camargue horse
